In the heart of Dalamatian Wine Country, we offer a pleasant respite from the tourist dominated areas of Korčula Island. where you can enjoy indigenous Pošip and Plavac wines, as well as our available fusion foods in a spectacular, secluded location, overlooking the Adriatic Sea and one of the premier wine growing areas of Europe.
Smokvica is another one of Korcula's delightful rustic villages, with the Church of The Purification of Our Lady at the heart of the 1000 inhabitants of Smokvica. There is a Baroque loggia and within walking distance several small Medieval churches. Served by two small supermarkets and a fish monger, life is pleasantly relaxed here with many people engaged in wine production. A short journey south will find you in the two coastal bays of Brna and Istruga, surrounded by pine woods; the latter being known for its medicinal mud.
